Deleting a Team

Deleting a Team

Deleting a team permanently removes it and all its data from PulseAPI. This action is irreversible.

Prerequisites: Only the team Owner can delete a team.

Before You Delete

Deleting a team permanently deletes:

  • All monitors and their check history
  • All incidents (open, acknowledged, and resolved)
  • All alert rules and notification channels
  • All projects
  • All team member associations (members' personal accounts are not affected)

Warning: This action is permanent and cannot be undone. Export any data you need before proceeding.

Consider alternatives:

Steps

  1. In the left sidebar, click Organization.
  2. Click your team name.
  3. Open the team settings (gear icon or ... menu).
  4. Scroll to the Danger Zone section.
  5. Click Delete Team.
  6. Type the team name to confirm the deletion.
  7. Click Confirm Delete.

Impact on Other Team Members

All members lose access to the team immediately after deletion. Their PulseAPI accounts are not deleted — they can still log in and access other teams they belong to.
