Creating a New Team

Creating a New Team

This article explains how to create an additional team in PulseAPI.

Steps

  1. Click your Team Switcher (top-left corner of the sidebar, showing your current team name).
  2. Click Create New Team.
  3. Enter a Team Name.
  4. Optionally add a Description for the team.
  5. Click Create Team.

You are automatically set as the Owner of the new team and switched to it.

After Creating the Team

The new team starts with:

  • No monitors, projects, or alert rules
  • You as the sole member (Owner)
  • A Free plan (you'll need to subscribe if you want paid features)

Your next steps will typically be:

  1. Invite team members — see Inviting a Team Member
  2. Create projects for organization — see Creating a Project
  3. Create monitors — see Creating a Monitor

Plan Limits and Multiple Teams

Each team has its own plan and billing. If you need the features of a paid plan on your new team, subscribe separately.

Monitor and member limits apply per team — a Professional plan on Team A doesn't give you extra limits on Team B.
