This article explains how to remove someone from your PulseAPI team.
Prerequisites: You must be a team Owner or Admin to remove members.
Steps
- In the left sidebar, click Organization.
- Click your team name.
- Click the Members tab.
- Find the member you want to remove.
- Click the ... menu next to their name and select Remove Member.
- Confirm the removal in the dialog.
The member is removed immediately. They lose access to the team's data right away.
What Happens to the Removed Member
- They can no longer see the team's monitors, incidents, or settings
- Their user account is not deleted — they can still log in and access other teams they belong to
- The Team Switcher in their sidebar no longer shows this team
- Any incidents they acknowledged or resolved retain their name in the incident history
Removing a Pending Invitee
If someone was invited but hasn't accepted yet, you can cancel the invitation:
- On the Members tab, find their name in the Pending Invitations section.
- Click the ... menu → Cancel Invitation.
