Check Interval Limits by Plan
The fastest check interval available to you depends on your plan. This article explains what each plan supports and how to get faster checks.

The monitor creation and edit forms only show the interval options available on your current plan. If you don't see an option (e.g., 15s), it means your plan doesn't support it.
Why Faster Intervals Are on Higher Plans
Faster intervals mean more checks per monitor per day, which requires more infrastructure capacity. A 5-second interval generates 12 checks per minute — vs. 1 check per minute at 60 seconds. This is a 12× difference in check volume, which translates to higher infrastructure costs.
Existing Monitors When Upgrading
When you upgrade to a plan with faster intervals, your existing monitors are not automatically changed — they stay at whatever interval you originally set. You need to edit each monitor to set a faster interval if you want to use the new capability.
Existing Monitors When Downgrading
If you downgrade from a plan with faster intervals and have monitors set to intervals faster than the new plan supports (e.g., 15-second monitors on a Free plan), those monitors are automatically adjusted to the new plan's minimum (60 seconds).
